Mesh conveyors are standard equipment in every fruit and vegetable processing plant, but they are not only used there. They allow the product to be washed thoroughly before pre-processing (e.g. by rinsing the vegetables from the soil) and to dry the final product (e.g. after the product has left the washer of sealed packaging). The choice of construction materials for these harsh working conditions and the easy-to-clean design make these conveyors reliable transport devices that significantly speed up operations for which the only alternative is tedious washing or drying.
